My Internships

 In this section, I will share insights and experiences from the internships I have completed. Each opportunity has contributed significantly to my personal and professional growth, and I am excited to showcase the skills and knowledge I have gained along the way.

Merchandising Intern | Silvina Ledesma | Córdoba, Argentina 

During my internship with Silvina Ledesma, a women’s fashion brand in Córdoba, Argentina, I worked closely with the team to support their international store and e-commerce expansion. One of my primary responsibilities was translating product descriptions, marketing materials, and customer communications into English, ensuring accessibility for a global audience. In addition, I gained hands-on experience in merchandising and retail operations, helping to manage product listings and maintain consistency across international markets.

​​​​​Working directly with my mentor and the brand’s team in a shared office space, I was able to observe and participate in day-to-day fashion business operations, from logistics and branding to customer engagement. This experience deepened my understanding of fashion retail, international business strategies, and cross-cultural communication. More importantly, living and working in Argentina challenged me to adapt quickly, problem-solve in unfamiliar environments, and expand my professional network internationally—skills that continue to shape my career path today.

 Management Intern | Kiawah Island Beach Club | Kiawah, SC | Summer 2023 

During my summer internship at the Kiawah Island Club’s Beach Club, I had the opportunity to take on a range of responsibilities that helped me develop a solid foundation in hospitality and operations. I was in charge of opening and closing the facility, managing daily profit sheets for different areas like the pool, beach, food and beverage, and the boutique.

I also created schedules, assigned tasks, and made sure stock and materials were organized and ready for use. Another key part of my role was helping to plan and coordinate special events and parties, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that guests had a great experience.

Working with the management team, I learned how to handle multiple tasks, stay organized, and keep everything running efficiently. This experience helped me grow as a leader, improved my problem-solving skills, and gave me a deeper understanding of what it takes to manage operations at a high-end venue. It was a great hands-on learning experience that shaped my approach to teamwork, customer service, and leadership.
